EK1501 EtherCAT Coupler

The EK1501 is an EtherCAT coupler with multi-mode fiber-optic connectivity that links the EtherCAT protocol at the fieldbus level to EtherCAT Terminals. It converts Ethernet 100BASE-FX telegrams into E-bus signals and supports variable network topologies, including line and star configurations. The coupler features two SC duplex sockets and three hexadecimal ID switches, allowing unique identification of EtherCAT component groups, which can be positioned anywhere in the network. Multi-mode fiber enables distances up to 2 km, while single-mode variants can reach 20 km. The coupler provides 24 V DC power to attached terminals, with a maximum output of 5 V and 2 A, extendable via additional power feed terminals if needed .

ECAT-2511-A/B Fiber Optic Converters

It is suitable for point-to-point applications up to 100 km, maintaining high throughput for each E1 channel without performance degradation. This device is commonly used by telcos and service providers to reduce operational and maintenance costs while efficiently transmitting multiple channels over long-haul fiber .
