A two-pole distribution box is configured by securely mounting the enclosure, connecting both hot wires to the two-pole breaker, properly terminating neutral and ground wires, and labeling each circuit for safety and maintenance.

Step 1: Choose and Install the Distribution Box

Select a distribution box suitable for your environment (indoor/outdoor) with the correct IP or NEMA rating and sufficient capacity for your circuits . A two-pole breaker simultaneously protects both hot wires. Connect L1 and L2 to the breaker terminals according to the markings, ensuring the breaker is seated correctly on the bus bars . The breaker occupies two slots in the panel and trips both poles together in case of overload or short circuit .

Step 4: Terminate Neutral and Ground
