Types of Suspension Fittings

They often include hyperbolic waist drum damping pads for strong gripping force, minimal crown, and light weight, suitable for high-voltage lines and areas prone to ice or long spans .
5. Mechanical Suspensions: Single or double mechanical suspensions support optical ground wire (OPGW) cables across various line angles. They handle vertical, transverse, and longitudinal loads without damaging the cable strands or affecting fiber performance. Breakaway bolts ensure proper installation torque and fast assembly .
